Catalog Changeover

The last day to order from the Spring-Summer catalog is
July 14th. You may order from the new Fall-Winter catalog
July 16th. If you’d like a new catalog that will include

Design Ideas

1. Balance
Balance is a very important concept related to space. It
refers to equilibrium among forms in a room. All of the
furnishings, large and small, should be distributed evenly
throughout the space, not just to one side of the room.
2. Focal Points
There has to be one dramatic element in the room that draws
immediate attention. That is the focal point.
3. Pattern and colors
Texture can also affect pattern and color. With fabrics,
texture can either soften or enhance a pattern.
4. Light and color
Lighting can change color dramatically. The quality of
natural light changes through the course of the day, too.
5. Defining space
Furniture should be arranged conducive to how it will be
used. Try arranging it away from the walls and at an angle.
