Continue to pull out any annuals that have finished for the season
Cut back any perennials that have finished for the season
Rake the beds, removing dead leaves and branches
Put a light coating of mulch over the crowns of the perennials
Replenish mulch to a depth of 1 ? inch around the flowerbed. We recommend starting the mulch a couple of inches away from the stem or trunk of the plants
We also recommend storing any clay or ceramic pottery for the winter months in an area where the temperatures are above freezing.
